What is export declaration?

In order to export goods, Transaction details(Seller, Buyer, Payment and so on), goods details(description, Quantity, Price and so on) and other matters prescribed by relevant regulaitons must be reported to customs office.

Export declaration can only be made before lading up overseas transportation

If packaging is completed. export declaration can be made at any time.

But, after export declaration. Goods must be shipped within 30 days.

Who should declare export declaration?

The person reponsible for declaring the export declaration is the exporter(seller). Also, Customs broker can declare export permission on behalf of exporter.

Unless there is justifiable cause, at the time of export, customs procedures need to be completed at the customs office with which the exporter is registered, or where the goods have been packaged or loaded into a container or the means of transport. It is difficult for exporter to fill up information of export declaration. Exporter usually request cusotms broker to do export declaration.
